Santa Claus is coming to town. He's got a beer bottle in one hand, a look of absolute murderous intent on his face, and a full moon behind him. He is not here to deliver presents. He is Eddie — and this is the most Iron Maiden Christmas has ever looked.
The design is a parody of Derek Riggs' original artwork for the 1990 album No Prayer for the Dying, in which Eddie bursts violently from a stone grave vault in a graveyard at night. Dressed in a Santa suit for the holiday version, that upright stone tomb looks uncannily like a chimney — which is either a happy accident or, knowing Iron Maiden, an entirely deliberate visual pun. Either way, Eddie coming up through the chimney is considerably more alarming than the traditional version of events. The front print is full-on festive chaos; flip it over and you get the title in classic Maiden lettering above a holly wreath — the most polite thing about this shirt.
